Currants, grilled herbs, peppercorns and smoked meat on the nose. It's full-bodied with soft tannins and bright acidity. Succulent, spicy and savory with a flavorful finish.
Nearly fifty years ago the Mercer family planted the first grapes in the Columbia Valley's Horse Heaven Hills on land our great-grandfather settled in 1886. This Red Blend was grown predominantly from these original vineyards, still in our family.
Aging: 14+ months in French & American Oak
Flavor Profile: Black Cherry, Blueberry Pie, Sweet Cocoa Powder
Palate: Mouth-coating palate, lush tannins, firm acidity
